This Privacy Policy describes how the provider of Gredis (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes information when you use the Gredis application(“App”).

This policy applies to Gredis distributed via the App Store (and other channels we authorize). The Redis servers, cloud services, or networks you connect to through the App are outside this policy — they are operated by you or other providers, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not require an account to use Gredis. We do not:

- Collect Redis keys, values, or commands on servers we operate

- Sell or rent your personal information

- Embed third-party advertising or tracking inside the App

Beyond optional support correspondence you initiate, we do not collect data from users for our own purposes. Data you view or edit in Redis stays between your device and your servers.

To provide functionality, the App stores data locally on your device, including:

Important: Connection credentials are stored locally on your device (or in your private iCloud container when you use Shared profiles). They are not transmitted to us. You are responsible for device security (screen lock, backups, and encryption). Deleting the App or its data removes locally stored information (subject to your device's system behavior). iCloud sync is handled by Apple between your devices signed into the same Apple ID.

5. iCloud sync5. iCloud 同步
If you create Shared connection profiles or favorites, the App stores them in your iCloud account so they can sync to your other devices. This data stays within Apple’s iCloud infrastructure tied to your Apple ID — we do not receive or host it on servers we operate. Shared sync requires you to be signed in to iCloud; availability depends on Apple’s services and your network.

Local profiles, workspace history, CLI sessions, Pub/Sub state, and memory-analysis caches remain on each device and are not synced through iCloud.

6. Network activity6. 网络活动
When you connect, the App communicates directly with Redis instances and optional SSH/TLS endpoints you configure. We do not proxy your traffic. Network content (keys, values, commands) is processed in memory on your device to display results.

If you email gredis-support@bytefl.com, we receive the information you choose to include (e.g., email address, device/OS version, app version, logs). Please do not send production passwords or sensitive Redis data unless necessary.

8. In-app purchases8. 应用内购买
Gredis may offer optional paid features (e.g., Gredis Pro) through Apple In-App Purchase. Gredis Pro is a one-time purchase (not a subscription). Payment is processed by Apple; we do not receive your payment card or bank details. Apple may provide us with purchase receipts or entitlement status solely to unlock features — not for advertising or resale.

Where GDPR applies, we process support correspondence based on legitimate interests (responding to requests) and/or contract (providing the App you obtained). Local processing on your device is performed to deliver the App functionality you request; we are not a controller of data stored on your Redis servers.

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information we hold about you (primarily support emails). To exercise rights, contact gredis-support@bytefl.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Gredis is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided us information, contact us to delete it.

12. Security12. 安全
We design the App to minimize data leaving your device. Exported connection files are encrypted on your device before you save or share them, you need to enter an export password before exporting. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. Use strong device passwords, protect export files and export passwords, and follow Redis security best practices on your servers.

Local App data persists until you delete it or uninstall the App. Support emails are retained only as long as needed to resolve inquiries and meet legal obligations.

14. International transfers14. 跨境传输
Because we do not collect Redis content on our servers, routine App use does not involve transfers to us. Support emails may be processed in countries where we or our email provider operate.
